This recognition ensures that we continue to set the standard for inclusive furniture for neurodiverse learners.

What is a Certified Autism Resource™? 

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), an independent credentialing and certification board with a focus on autism, neurodiversity, and accessibility, is the official accrediting body for the Certified Autism Resource™ (CAR) program. IBCCES is internationally recognized for setting certification standards for professionals working with individuals with sensory needs and disabilities.

To earn this credential, products must undergo a thorough review process conducted by a board of experts. This review process determines how a product aligns with one or more of the six areas of autism competency and how effectively it meets the specific needs of neurodiverse individuals. The board examines each product in detail to ensure there is sufficient evidence that it supports autistic individuals. The goal of this program is to connect CAR partners with therapists, educators, and parents to ensure they have the knowledge and access to products and services they need to improve the lives of individuals on the spectrum.

Movement Seating
