(Temple, TX, February 6, 2024) – Artcobell is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Smith as the company’s new president. Smith has served as Vice President of Operations for Artcobell since 2017.
“Kevin Smith has been instrumental in bringing Lean practices to Artcobell’s operations,” says Kevin Goldston, managing director of Artcobell’s board. “His leadership helped to prepare the company for phenomenal growth over the past six years. We look forward to his continued presence at the helm.”
Smith has spent the majority of his career in manufacturing operations, with an early introduction to Lean practices in 1992 when he formally studied the Toyota Production System under the guidance of several Sensei from Toyota of Japan.

Rick Parker, immediate past president of Artcobell, will continue to serve as an advisor to the company.
