School Type: Public High School

Design Intent

The design of the school follows a traditional floor plan, but features large open classrooms to allow flexible layouts. The curriculum requires independent study and testing, making the combination desk ideal for the classrooms. A non-traditional cafeteria was designed to maximize the functionality by creating a multi-use space.

Solution

At the recommendation of Frank Cooney Company, the school chose Discover combination desks for their ergonomic design. The Discover shell features structural ribs for support and increased flexibility. The waterfall edge design of the seat provides added comfort. The Discover chair provides a sophisticated solution for the cafeteria.
