Design Intent

The design intent for Hampton High School was to create a space where students want to go to school...not have to go to school. The school was designed to encourage collaboration and feels like a collegiate atmosphere. The beautiful, bright campus is a space where students take ownership of their school and education.

Solution

The furniture selection assisted table based learning for students to work one on one with teachers or in small groups.  All classrooms have Discover Shape Tables and to facilitate optimum movement, all Alphabet chairs are on casters. The Math Lab is a room filled with Discover Shape Tables with white board tops so students can easily work on math problems individually or in groups.
